Rest A Shore Home Watch is a family owned and operated business. We were founded in 2019 by a husband and wife team who are Ocean County natives and have been residents of Bayville, New Jersey for over 25 years.

Why is this important? Because when you partner with Rest A Shore Home Watch, you can be certain that the individuals taking care of your home are local, know the area, understand our weather patterns, and are deeply connected to the local community.

Rest A Shore Home Watch is a fully insured Home Watch company that is accredited by the National Home Watch Association. Members of the NHWA are required to undergo carefully screening, have their references checked, must be bonded and insured, and need to abide by the association’s Code of Ethics and set of standards in order to be verified. This added layer of checks and balances ensures that when you partner with Rest A Shore Home Watch, you can be confident that your home and belongings will be safe and secure.

We serve Ocean County and specialize in seasonal, secondary residencies in coastal neighborhoods and active adult and retirement communities. Our team travels from Long Beach Island to Point Pleasant - and everywhere in between - caring for homes while owners are traveling for vacation, temporary leave or visiting their second home in sunnier locations during the winter months. Whenever you leave your home, Rest A Shore Home Watch will look over it so you can be confident you’re safe and protected.
